FOUNDER

RODRIGO GUTIERREZ

Corialent

12 years ago, Rodrigo decided that the Coca Colas of the world shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have all the fun in the advertising industry. He was sick of all the dull, corporate, navy blue and white B2B work out there. Business people are people too. Corialent specializes in B2B marketing that doesn’t suck. And they want to get the rest of the industry drinking that delicious KoolAid.

Supervisor Training

The Leadership Journey isn't just about teaching leadership skills. Rather, it's a continuous supervisor training course for managers, supervisors, and team leaders. Rather than a single one-off training event, provide a series of practical, shorter lessons focused on building 10 core leadership skills over the course of six months. Each day will focus on one skill, which builds on the prior day's lesson.

Supervisors are usually involved in all areas of an organization. However, there are often problems where supervisors are not active in some ways or other. For example, some organizations have a culture where supervisors think they can get away with their behavior because they don't hold employees accountable. Through weekly meetings and other activities, you can help your supervisors learn and practice leadership skills in an environment that highlights them.

These leadership training courses will teach your supervisors how to: develop their competencies, create a work environment that's based on productivity, learn to build effective teams, manage time effectively, and more. They will also gain a better understanding of their employees, their needs and expectations, and their skills and talents. The Learning Curve takes into account how much supervision an individual needs. This is because different people bring different strengths and experiences to the workplace. Employees will also gain more understanding of their careers, their skills, their strengths, their weaknesses, and their future goals.

The Learning Curve is designed to train supervisors on competencies, soft skills, leadership skills, decision-making, mentoring, and more. In order to develop competencies and soft skills, managers need to be self-directed. Self-directed supervisors know what they want to achieve from the workplace and how to get there.

The main goal of leadership development is for employees to understand the purpose of the company and what they contribute to the success of the business. This is so important to everyone. Employees must understand why they are in the position they are in. They must also recognize their own unique role and how that relates to the company's goals and objectives. Lastly, employees should know how to deal with conflict, handling criticism, staying calm, building effective relationships, accepting and resolving conflict, working as a team, and more.

Managers also need to learn how to effectively communicate with all of their employees. Communication skills include creating positive relationships with supervisors and subordinates, maintaining open communication lines, resolving conflict, motivating workers, and more. Communication is a very powerful tool and can be one of the most overlooked development tasks for supervisors. If you're not communicating well with your team or management, then you're not likely running as efficiently as possible. A lot of time and resources are wasted when you have effective communication skills issues with your employees.

You should also consider creating some new leadership roles for supervisors. New supervisors should be taught how to lead from the front-line. Most people don't realize that there are certain leadership roles that are often ignored by people who are actually in leadership positions. New supervisors should be taught the value of getting referrals and getting others involved in the process of leading. It's also important that new supervisors are taught how to develop leadership roles and how to get others to help them become effective leaders.

Another skill that supervisors should consider developing is conflict resolution skills. Sometimes, the greatest problem that managers and supervisors can encounter is internal conflicts within their own company. These can be caused by poor performance, lack of effective policies or procedures, poor training, or just bad management. When it comes to conflict resolution, you must be able to effectively take care of any internal or external conflicts that may arise and handle them. This will allow you to effectively handle problems within the company and grow your business.
